Hi all! Yes, I live in Kansas now - summers
are horrid. We moved here with the military. Husband is still active and
so is my 20 year old son Justin. Also have a 15 year old daughter
Myranda who plays flute and is very athletic (X-country, Basketball,
Track, Soccer, and does well in all). I still play flute for our
tiny little worship team, work as a Respiratory Therapist. Would
love to hear from old friends.

Color Guard (Flag Line)Hi to everyone who remembers me and to
those who find me totally forgettable. I married my high school
sweetheart (who happened to be a wrestler for Oak Grove High School)
right after I graduated. We've been married for 20 years. We have 3
beautiful daughters: Kassandra (20), Cherish (17), and Sable (12). I
think that they are the most awesome kids on earth and it's all due to
the fact that they truly love Jesus Christ. I have home schooled all 3
of them (NO WAY! Yes, it's true.) and I love it (most of the time). This
will be my 8th year home schooling, Kassie's senior year was the year
2000. After Kassie graduated from TOCKSGAR High (our home school) she
left for school in the San Diego area, she got engaged on January 1st of
2001 and we had beautiful wedding on September 1st, 2001, in Monterey,
CA. (Kassie and Ron were in Italy, on their honeymoon, on September
11th; it was a little nerve racking for us). She married a red headed
guitar player who loves God more than life itself. (I am very happy and
proud, but I am also OLD now that I am a mother-in-law). We may be
adopting a new daughter - which is a little scary. My husband, Orville,
is my best friend, just like he was the last two years of high school.
Orville just finished being an extra in the new Mel Gibson movie WE WERE
SOLDIERS (very exciting). Basically we are working hard, having fun, and
praising God. God bless!! trish

Aloha all you crazy ER folks. I only
marched for one year, but still smile when I think about it.
Anyway, I spent most of that year chasing around BVD Man (Ray Barreras).
Ah, good times...
I am a math teacher, SCUBA instructor, master of Guitar Hero (go figure)
and the mother of 2 terrific kids. My daughter is the Queen of Karaoke,
and my son is in Seattle trying to bust into the music scene as a bass
player.

Well, in case you missed previous comments,
a quick recap:
- Graduated with a degree in Percussion Performance
- Played professionally with Kansas City Symphony, Lyric Opera of Kansas
City, and State Ballet of Missouri
- Was married to my wife Katie
- Decided that I wanted to spend more time with my wife, so got a "real"
job in IT
- Took a new job in Springfield, IL so we could be closer to all of our
family in St. Louis and Central Illinois
- Now I'm currently debating how much professional music I want to do.
We'll see....

Brass (Trombone / Bass Trombone)I enjoyed reading everyone else's
comments so much, I felt obliged to add my own. I moved back to
Morgan Hill about a decade ago, married a local girl (Suzi Sanford,
sister of Trish from Guard), and we now have three great kids. The
oldest is 11 and has taken up trumpet (not trombone, bass clef is
useless!). I bore him with tales of Whitewater now and then, and
threaten him with more if he doesn't practice!
Oh, I'm also on the Morgan Hill City
Council. The LOER is still a big deal in Morgan Hill. Great
reading about everyone, thanks for setting this up so we can keep in
touch.

where all those years went) and hope to find some of my former
classmates. I am enjoying life in this wee small town, but absolutely
hate the hot summer days. Was very hard to get used to after moving
from San Jose. I am divorced now (happily!!!) and work for the USPS. I
bought my first computer last year and am addicted to Ebay, mainly
replacing childhood collectibles like Liddle Kiddles and Barbies. Would
love to swap pics with former friends. Thank goodness I look nothing
like I did in high school!

Hi. I graduated from UC Davis in June
'05 with a Bachelors in Genetics. I got married and moved to
Sacramento a few months after that. I've been working for a
biotech company (Genentech) in Vacaville, which I really enjoy.
I've been telling myself every year since
leaving Live Oak that I'm going to go to some competitions in the fall.
Maybe I'll see some of you next fall, when I'm bound to be out there... |

I'm working here in Morgan Hill as an underwriting clerk for an
insurance brokerage. I married Paul Locsin (Jason Locsin's little
cousin) on May 1st, 2009. We took a cruise in the Western Caribbean for
the honeymoon. We live in Morgan Hill with our puggle, Hilo.
Paul's parents are band alumni, although Paul himself isn't. His dad
Bart played "a mean sax" back in the day, according to Mr. Rubino. His
mom Sallie (formerly Ferner) played flute. |

Rule)I was at my favorite
coffee shop in Santa Cruz and as I was chatting with the kid making my
latte, our conversation was on music and names. I mentioned that I
had a son named after Stone gossard, ( he knew who that was too.) and he
said his parents were going to name him Adam, because his last name was
"bomb", get it atom bomb.......well his last name took me by surprise
and I blurted out my favorite band teacher's name was Baum. This
kid looked up at me and said, " my grandfather is Marty Baum. I
was left in shock and stunned beyond belief. I couldn't believe he
had just said that. He had been raised in Santa Cruz and he never
knew me before that to know I grew up in Morgan Hill. His name is
Steve Baum, His dad is Steve Baum, Mr. Baum's youngest son. Steve
jr. was shocked too to learn I was a student from 3rd grade to 8th grade
of his grandfather. I was able to tell him over many visits to the
coffee shop about his grandfather before he was ever born. I made
sure to tell him what a huge impact Mr. Baum had in my life, and my love
for music. I told him how everything I know I learned from his
granddad. A couple of times he brought in pictures of Mr. Baum.
He even had the chance to tell his grandfather that he had met Suzy
Smith. Steve told me that Mr. Baum reacted so fast and pleased
when he heard me name, Steve could tell that his story of meeting me
made his grandfathers day. Steve is a great kid, Mr. Baum should
be proud of his grandson. Of course Steve and I know have a very
friendly relationship, and he was the one to inform me of his
grandfathers death. It's so wonderful to see the Baum name (which
is a huge part of my life) still carrying on in the music world (Steve
plays the drums) and in my life too. I owe so much to Marty Baum,
he was my favorite teacher and I will never forget the part he played in
my life . I will miss him deeply. Sue Smith

but some years it's not possible. I'm still doing music, and playing as
much as I can (but the day job gets in the way of that sometimes). If
