I've barely graduated, and I miss everyone
already! I'll be heading out to UC Davis in the Fall (2004), but I'll
make sure to be back for ERI! Look for me in the crowd, I'll be wearing
my jacket and band shirt.
(July 2, 2006)
Hi everyone! I've finished up my second year at UC Davis.
I'll be heading into my Junior year here in the Fall. I'm a
Classical Civilizations major, and enjoying it immensely!
I wanted to say I'm sorry I can't make it to
the Independence Day Parade. I have classes both Monday and
Wednesday and I'm wiped out as it is getting homework done.
Whatever possessed me to sign up for summer classes? *grins* But
I'm having fun with them. And trying not to melt in the heat up
here.
Have a good summer everyone! |

Excellent experiences and several of the best life lessons I've ever
learned. I hope this band stays around for decades to come because it is
one of the best places to learn in life.

like it was yesterday and yet so many years have passed. What would we
have done without the cherished memories of the Band and Color Guard. I
for one feel very lucky to have been apart of such a wonderful, fun
experience.

Woodwinds (Flute)
Section Leader, 1981-82. My four years in
band were the best of my life until that point. Now I play my flute as
well as sing for church services, where my musical training by the
Morgan Hill School District has paid off for me time and time again. God
has gifted me with the ability and desire to communicate His wonderful
love through music, and I have never lost my appreciation to the Emerald
Regime for giving me a solid foundation in music and my instrument so
that I could musically share Jesus with others throughout my life. In
addition to great musical training, my years with the Emerald Regime
taught me self-discipline, respect, perseverance, leadership, and
self-esteem. God Bless Live Oak and the Emerald Regime, and thank you,
Mike and Cricket--WE ARE THE CHAMPIONS OF THE WORLD!!
Career-wise, I spent 13 years as a secretary
and was very successful at it, but I outgrew that job and now I am an
Information Technology (IT) Specialist focusing on information systems
analysis and IT project management. I work for NASA in Hampton, VA. My
husband and I have no children. He recently retired and is loving it so
far, but I have several more years to go until I am eligible to retire.
Although I am jealous of his new freedom, I still enjoy my work and the
people I work with.

Color Guard (whatev)Well I
marched with raiders til I was in 8th, took a 2 year break, started back
up with L.O. junior year, moved away senior year, and now almost 5 years
since I marched I am bored and looking around.....now I miss it so
much!!!!
I am in the AF and love it, but we cant
exactly toss our rifles, and despite how often I get yelled at for
spinning my rifle, that too is a BIG no-no!!! |
