 Emerald Regime Alumni

A special Emerald Regime 40 Year Anniversary Party and Parade

To celebrate 40 years of Emerald Regime, the alumni hosted a special dinner party on the evening of Saturday July 2nd and participated in the Morgan Hill Independence Day Parade on July 4th.  This party served as a celebration of the Emerald Regime throughout its rich history and also a huge "thank you" to Mike and Cricket Rubino for their leadership and commitment to excellence throughout the Emerald Regime's history.

For more information, please go to: http://www.emeraldregimealumni.com.

With regret, we have some sad news to pass on.  On Monday, February 7th, 2011, Jim "Papa/Grandpa" Rubino passed away.  He just celebrated his 98th birthday on Monday, January 31st.  Mr. Rubino said that one of his fondest memories was cooking for the band on numerous occasions.

The Rubino family had a memorial celebration of life on Friday, March 4th at 3pm.  Several alumni, family and friends attended the celebration. There was a video presentation showing the life of Papa Rubino and several people shared great stories and fond memories of him.  More information can be found on the Emerald Regime Alumni Facebook page.

The Emerald Regime Alumni Marching Band and Color Guard performed in the 2010 Morgan Hill Independence Day parade marching again under the direction of Mike and Cricket Rubino!  For more information, to see comments, photos and videos, please visit: http://emeraldregimealumni.com
