Morgan Hill After School Band
Program Concert WOW! - What else
can be said. The end of year concert was a resounding success. The After
School Band, under the direction of John Bremis, was followed by the Britton
Cadet, Advanced, and Jazz bands under the direction of Jason Locsin. Over
200 parents and music lovers attended.
The After School Band (MHASBP) played their
first concert. They were fantastic!
These dedicated kids started learning instrumental music in January and in 5
months filled the Britton Auditorium with wonderful sound.
MHASBP:
- Thank you to the parents for your participation.
- Thank you John Bremis for being a teacher and mentor to these young
musicians.
- Most of all - Thank you to the students who put in the time, effort, and
love it takes to make such beautiful music.
The next step will be Middle School where, as
the Britton Bands demonstrated, there is more to learn and new music to
make.
The MHASBP will start-up again in the Fall
(September). If you were not able to join this year, we welcome you in the
next school year. If you were one of the 33 musicians that performed this
year - join us next year!
